Description:
In our old family country house, on a large property (54 acres of olive groves, pastures and oak forests) in the hills near the Tuscan/Umbrian border (650 meters asl), we let only one apartment, totally independent and very private with 2 double bedrooms a living room with fireplace and a bathroom.
You can enjoy beautiful sunsets, panoramic walks - just outside the door - bathing at lakes Trasimeno or Bolsena, the hot springs in San Casciano, our ancient breed of Italian horses, a beautiful pool, a private terrace with barbecue for eating and cooking outside. We are happy to help you with suggestions for discovering the countryside (restaurants, markets, shops, events etc.) and to share our food and wine expertise.
Visit nearby cities by day ( Orvieto 30 mins; Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Montepulciano 50 mins, Arezzo and Siena 60 mins, Florence and Rome 90 mins) and return to the cool air of a peaceful country evening. We are in the hearth of a very fascinating area between Tuscany Umbria and Alto Lazio at 20 mins from a train station on the main line Rome Florence Milan. You can also swim in lake Bolsena and Trasimeno and enjoy the hot spring in San Casciano (30 mins). If you are fond of archeology, you can see the Etruscan most important finds in Orvieto, Chiusi, Cortona.
